Senior .Net Contractor

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Senior .NET Developer for an initial 12-month daily rate contract with a leading organisation based in Dublin City Centre. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise-scale .NET applications
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements
• Design scalable, maintainable application architectures and implement best practices
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party systems
• Produce efficient data models and work extensively with SQL Server databases
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional development teams
• Support code reviews and ensure high standards of software quality and performance

Key Skills

• 10+ years' experience developing applications within an enterprise .NET environment
• Strong commercial experience with C#, .NET, SQL Server, Entity Framework and REST APIs
• Proficiency with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and Git
• Experience with data modelling and third-party API integrations
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns and non-functional requirements
• Experience working with business stakeholders to define requirements for complex systems
• Solid experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
• Exposure to front-end technologies such as Angular, React or Blazor
• Experience with Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus
